Course Overview
The Bachelor of Psychological Science/Master of Teaching (Primary) is a 4.5-year full-time or equivalent part-time course that combines the study of psychological science with the practice of teaching in primary education. The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of psychological principles and their application in educational settings, as well as the skills and knowledge required to become a effective primary school teacher.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the course, applicants must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level or equivalent:
- English (Standard) (Band 2) or English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) (Band 3) in New South Wales
- English Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL in Victoria
Applicants must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy, which includes meeting a minimum ATAR requirement.
