Business Foundation Units
The Business Foundation Units provide a knowledge base for further studies. Students should complete the four foundation units before progressing:
- BUSN105 Financial Literacy: Provides a non-specialist grounding in accounting and financial management.
- BUSN114 Marketing Essentials: Offers a comprehensive foundation in marketing principles and practices.
- BUSN113 Managing People and Organisations: Covers organisational behaviour, human resource management, and occupational health and safety.
- ITEC100 Information Technology Professional Skills and Practices: Equips students with practical and ethical IT skills.
Course Information
Credit/Recognition of Prior Learning
Students can apply for credit towards their ACU course if they have prior university study or significant relevant work experience. Credit applications should be submitted no later than the census date in the first semester of enrolment.
- Credit may only be granted for study completed within the last 10 years.
