Graduate Certificate in Religious Education

The Graduate Certificate in Religious Education is a postgraduate course designed for individuals who wish to pursue a career in religious education. This course does not, on its own, lead to a teaching qualification.

Course Overview

• The course consists of 40 credit points and can be completed in 0.5 years full-time or equivalent part-time.
• The course is offered online through ACU Online.
• The EFTSL value of units in this course is 0.125 for all 10 cp units.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed a Bachelor degree in Education or an equivalent, or recognised teaching qualification.

Completion Requirements

To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 40cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

• 40 cp from Religious Education and Theology units (Part A)

Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator.
