Program Overview
Bachelor of Biomedical Science
The Bachelor of Biomedical Science is a three-year undergraduate degree that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the biological and chemical principles that underlie human health and disease.
Credit Points and Duration
The degree consists of 240 credit points and can be completed in three years of full-time study or equivalent part-time study.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Biomedical Science, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- New South Wales: Any two units of English (Standard) (Band 3) or English as an Additional Language (EAL) (Band 4), any 2 units of mathematics (Band 2)
- Queensland: English (Units 3 & 4, C); any combination of General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C)
- Victoria: Units 3 and 4 a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English, and a study score of at least 25 in Mathematics (any)
Completion Requirements
To qualify for the Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree, students must complete 240 credit points from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 180 credit points from Specified Units List A (Part A)
- 20 credit points from Core Curriculum units (Part C)
- 40 credit points from Elective units (Part D) or 1 Minor (Part E)
