Program Overview
Graduate Diploma in High Performance Sport
The Graduate Diploma in High Performance Sport is a postgraduate course designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in the field of high performance sport. The course is delivered online and is available to international students who are not seeking to study on a Student Visa.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must:
- Hold a Bachelor degree or higher in Exercise Science, Sports Science, Human Movement, or a related discipline, and have evidence of relevant industry experience.
- Submit a supporting professional referee's report regarding suitability for this postgraduate program and/or experience in the industry.
- Alternatively, hold a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, Human Movement, or a related discipline, with a grade point average of at least 4.8 on the ACU 7-point scale, and submit a supporting professional referee's report.
- Have completed one of the following ACU degrees: Graduate Certificate in High Performance Sport, Graduate Certificate in Performance Analysis, or Graduate Certificate in Exercise Rehabilitation for Sports Injuries.
Completion Requirements
To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 80 credit points from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, comprising:
- 70 credit points from Specified Units (Part A)
- 10 credit points from Elective Units (Part B)
Exit Points
A student who has completed 40 credit points from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, including EXSC510 and EXSC513, may exit with the Graduate Certificate in High Performance Sport.
Progression Requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator.

Part B: Electives
Complete exactly 10 credit points from the following:
- EXSC515: Exercise Prescription for Sports Injury Management Across the Lifespan (10 cp)
