Program Overview


Bachelor of Nutrition Science/Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Nutrition Science/Bachelor of Business Administration is a double degree program that combines the study of nutrition science with business administration. This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of nutrition science and business administration.


Credit Points and Duration

The program consists of 320 credit points and can be completed in 4 years full-time or equivalent part-time.


Approved Locations

The program is approved to be delivered at the Melbourne and North Sydney campuses.


Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the program, applicants must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent:


  • English (Advanced or Standard) (Band 3) or English as a Second Language (Band 4) in New South Wales
  • Units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 30 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or 25 in any other English in Victoria

International students must also meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.


Completion Requirements

To qualify for the double degrees, students must complete 320 credit points consisting of:


  1. 120 credit points from the Specified Units from the Schedule of Unit Offerings of the Bachelor of Business Administration
  2. 170 credit points from the Specified Units from the Schedule of Offerings of the Bachelor of Nutrition Science units
  3. 20 credit points from University Core Curriculum Units
  4. 10 credit points from Community Engagement Units

Progression Requirements

Students normally complete 100 level units before undertaking related 200 level units, and 200 level units before undertaking related 300 level units.

Prerequisites are units that must be completed before enrolling in another unit. Incompatibles are units that are similar to another unit, and students who have previously passed an Incompatible unit are not able to enrol in the similar unit.
