Course Overview
The Bachelor of Applied Public Health is a 3-year full-time or equivalent part-time course that requires the completion of 240 credit points. The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of public health principles, practices, and policies.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the course, applicants must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level or equivalent:
- English Standard (Band 2) or English as an Additional Language (EAL) (Band 3) in New South Wales
- Units 3 and 4 a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English in Victoria
International students must also meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
Completion Requirements
To qualify for the degree, students must complete 240 credit points consisting of:
- 140 credit points from specified Public Health units (Part A)
- 50 credit points from Inter-professional units (Part B)
- 20 credit points from Health Promotion units (Part C)
- 20 credit points from Core Curriculum units (Part D)
- 10 credit points from elective units (Part E)
