Overview
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) is a four-year full-time program that provides students with a comprehensive education in physiotherapy. The program is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become competent physiotherapists.
Credit Points and Duration
The program consists of 320 credit points and has a minimum duration of four years full-time.

The program is approved to be delivered at the following locations:
- Ballarat
- Brisbane
- North Sydney
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) program, students must meet the following requirements:
- New South Wales: A minimum grade point average of 5.0 on the ACU seven-point scale in the first four semesters of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program.
- Queensland: A minimum grade point average of 5.0 on the ACU seven-point scale in the first four semesters of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program.
- Victoria: A minimum grade point average of 5.0 on the ACU seven-point scale in the first four semesters of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program.
Students must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy and meet the English Language Proficiency requirements.
Completion Requirements
To qualify for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy Honours degree, students must complete 320 credit points from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
- 70 credit points from Specified Honours units (Part A)
- 10 credit points from Inter-professional units (Part B)
- 150 credit points from Physiotherapy Practice units (Part C)
- 40 credit points from Physiotherapy Honours units (Part D)
- 40 credit points from Allied Health Honours Units (Part E)
- 10 credit points from University Core Curriculum units (Part F)

Exit Points
Students who have successfully completed 220 to 230 credit points from the Bachelor of Physiotherapy units, excluding the Core Curriculum units, and 10 to 20 credit points from the Core Curriculum units may exit with the following qualification:
- Bachelor of Allied Health
Progression Requirements
Students must pass all units in the Honours program. Failure to do so may result in students being transferred from the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) back to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program.
Other Requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
