The Master's program in Classical Vocal Music aims to educate musicians who can serve and promote Hungarian and universal musical culture as solo artists, opera singers, and oratorio and song singers.

Program Details

• The program leads to a Master's degree (MA) and has a duration of 4 semesters.
• The available specializations are:
  • Opera singing
  • Oratorio and song singing
• The degree certificate will specify the specialization as "opera singer-artist" or "oratorio and song singer-artist".

Admission Requirements

• The program accepts students who have completed a Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field, with full credit recognition.
• The accepted prior degrees include any specialization of the Music Bachelor's program and the Creative Arts and Musicology Bachelor's program.

Program Structure

• The program requires a total of 120 credits to complete the Master's degree.
• The program is highly practice-oriented, with 70-80% of the credits dedicated to practical skills.
• The final project (diploma concert) is worth 15 credits.
• Students can choose elective courses worth a minimum of 6 credits.
• For students pursuing a specialization, a minimum of 65 credits must be dedicated to the specialization.
