Admission Requirements

  • For admission to the Master's program, the following Bachelor's degrees are accepted with full credit recognition:
    • Music Teacher training with a specialization in Orchestra and Choir Conducting, and Choir Conducting.
    • Classical flute, classical clarinet, classical oboe, classical saxophone, classical bassoon, classical horn, classical trumpet, classical trombone, classical tuba, and classical percussion specializations.
    • Other music-related fields as defined by the higher education law of 1993, including music theory-solfeggio teacher, choir conducting, wind orchestra conducting, and instrument teacher (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussion).
  • Other Bachelor's degrees in music performance and musicology can also be considered, with credit recognition determined by the higher education institution's credit transfer committee.
  • The minimum number of credits required for admission is:
    • 30 credits in the theoretical and historical background of music.
    • 10 credits in conducting performance art or related specific theoretical knowledge.
  • Students must have at least 20 credits in the listed areas from their Bachelor's studies.
  • Any missing credits must be acquired according to the study and examination regulations.
