Oral Medicine Program
The Oral Medicine course is a complex program that includes the diagnosis and treatment of oral mucosal alterations, periodontitis, and other symptoms. The program is held in the final years of dental training, both in Hungarian and English. Students participate in patient care, including diagnostic interventions, medical history taking, and evaluating the results of diagnostic interventions. The program also includes scientific evaluation of risk factors and research projects, such as a multicenter study on salivary diagnostics of oral tumors and studies on the interaction between periodontal disease and rheumatoid arthritis.
