Overview
The International Law program at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of public international law. The program is offered on a part-time basis and leads to a Bachelor's degree in Law.

Profession
A lawyer in the field of public international law is a specialist dealing with issues of various areas of public international law. They are in demand in national legislative and executive authorities, structures of international organisations, non-governmental organisations, diplomatic institutions, universities, transnational corporations, human rights organisations, and more.
Educational Process
The program provides for in-depth study of the basic course of public international law within three semesters, the third semester being purely practical. From the first semester of the first year of study, students master the History of International Law, Modern International Relations, Law of International Organizations, and Law of International Treaties. The program also provides for the students to study at least two foreign languages. During the course of studies, students have the opportunity to use the interuniversity resource center with unique literature on international law, including English sources and material in other official languages of the United Nations.
Practice
The Department of International Law provides internship on the basis of the department itself, supports students applying for internships at foreign universities, international organizations, and companies, and has signed agreements with international organizations, ministries, and departments, including:
