• 2: Principles of ultrasound research
• 3: Technique of conducting research. Basic artifacts
• 4: Preparation of the animal for research, communication with the owner
• 5: Ultrasound of the bladder
• 6: Ultrasound of the reproductive system of males and females. Indications for research
• 7: Ultrasound diagnosis of pregnancy
• 8: Ultrasound of the excretory system. Indications for research
• 9: Ultrasound of the spleen. Indications for research
• 10: Ultrasound of the hepatobiliary system. Indications for research. Norms and basic pathologies
• 11: Ultrasound of the gastrointestinal tract. Topography and normal visualization. Principles of visualizing pathology
• 12: Punctures. Overview of the technique for performing cystocentesis, laparocentesis, thoracocentesis
• 13: Final control

Target Audience

The program is designed for individuals with higher education, secondary special education, or those receiving higher or secondary special education in the specialty "Veterinary Medicine".

The goals of the program include:

• Advanced training
• Acquisition of qualitatively new knowledge in the field of visual diagnostics of animal diseases
• Acquisition of skills for independent conduct of ultrasound research and interpretation of results
• Formation and improvement of diagnostic and treatment skills for animal diseases using modern ultrasound equipment

Skills Acquired

Upon completion of the program, participants will:

• Know about modern methods of ultrasound instrumental diagnostics, features of application, indications, possible complications, and contraindications for use
• Be able to conduct ultrasound diagnostics of diseases in small pets, understand and analyze the results of conducted ultrasound research
• Master the skills of working with modern diagnostic equipment, skills of choosing diagnostic studies, skills of performing minimally invasive procedures under ultrasound control, such as punctures, sampling under ultrasound control
