The Optique Instrumentale - 4PMNOPT9 program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of optical systems and their limitations. The course covers various aspects of optics, including geometric optics, wave optics, and statistical optics.
Objectives
The primary objective of this program is to enable students to understand the functioning and limitations of optical measurement systems. This is achieved by exploring notions of optical geometry, wave optics, and statistical optics, and then applying these concepts to instruments such as spectrometers, telescopes, and optical coherence tomography.
Content
The program covers the following topics:
- Systčmes optique stigmatiques: Tracé de rayons ŕ travers des systčmes de lentilles et miroirs.
- Calcul et dimensionnements de systčmes de lentilles: Application ŕ la présentation des systčmes optiques classiques (appareil photographique, télescope, microscope).
- Aberrations des systčmes optiques.
- Diffraction dans les systčmes optiques: Impact sur les performances des instruments.
- Interféromčtres et optique statistique: Application ŕ la tomographie optique cohérente et ŕ la synthčse d'ouverture.
