- Objectif(s): The objective of this course is to provide an overview of advanced lithography techniques, particularly photolithography, which is the basis for the fabrication of integrated circuits in microelectronics. It also includes a reflection on the challenges of sustainable development around photolithography techniques.

- Introduction to lithography and the challenges of miniaturization
- Optical lithography (steps, exposure and alignment systems, optics for lithography, techniques for improving resolution, immersion lithography, extreme-UV lithography)
- Problems of sustainable development around photolithography
- Introduction to new lithography techniques (e-beam, nano-imprint)
- Prérequis: Some knowledge of microelectronic technology and photolithography
- Contrôle des connaissances:
- Semestre 9 - The exam exists only in English
- Session 1: 90% DS + 10% CC, supervised assignment (on Chamilo, in a computer room), duration 30 minutes, all documents prohibited, calculator allowed
- Session 2: written exam of 30 minutes, without documents, CC is not recoverable
