Program Overview

Program Overview

The program in question appears to be related to engineering, specifically focusing on sensors and information processing. It is part of the offerings at Grenoble INP - Ense3, UGA.

Informations Générales

Volumes Horaires

  • CM: 24.0 hours
  • Projet: Not specified
  • TD: 6.0 hours
  • Stage: Not specified
  • TP: 28.0 hours

Crédits ECTS

The program awards 5.0 ECTS credits.

Objectif(s)

Upon completion of this unit, students will be capable of:

  • Implementing a sensor and the necessary electronics for its operation
  • Implementing an actuator and the necessary electronics for its operation
  • Conducting temporal and spectral analysis of an experimental signal
  • Applying a filter to a signal to enhance information of interest and improve the signal-to-noise ratio

Responsable(s)

The program is led by Pierre GRANJON.

Contenu(s)

The content includes basic elements of electronics such as acquisition and restitution chains, implementation of sensors, basic electronic tools, sensor conditioning, preprocessing of electrical quantities, and output interfacing. Additionally, it covers basic elements for signal processing, including signal energy and average power, correlation functions and delay measurement, linear filtering and convolution, frequency representation of signals, modulation, sampling, and Shannon's theorem.

Prérequis

The prerequisite for this program is 3EUS1MAT Mathématiques pour l'ingénieur.

Contrôle des Connaissances

Session Normale

  • CC (Continuous Control): Composed of multiple deliverables (50% of the final grade)
    • Average of notes from signal processing lab reports done in pairs (15% of the final grade)
    • Average of notes from electronic lab reports done in pairs (35% of the final grade)
  • ET (Terminal Exam): A 3-hour written exam without documents, except for a handwritten A4 sheet, calculators not allowed (50% of the final grade)
    • 2 hours for signal processing (35% of the final grade)
    • 1 hour for electronics (15% of the final grade)

Session de Rattrapage

The grade obtained replaces the ET grade. The CC grade is not retrievable.

Calendrier

The course is scheduled in the following programs:

  • Cursus ingénieur - Ingénieur 1re année - Semestre 6

Refer to the 2025/2026 schedule for details.

Informations Complémentaires
