Wellness at Work Nutrition Series

The Wellness at Work Nutrition Series is a dynamic program led by dietitians from the Center for Nutrition Education and Research (MCNER). The series is designed to support health, boost energy, and fit individual lifestyles.

  • Thursday, October 23, 2025: Beyond the Buzzwords: Decoding Food Labels for Smarter, Healthier Choices
    • Presenter: Ashley Mayes MS, RDN, LDN, CDCES
    • Description: Learn how to spot the difference between products that are healthier choices versus those with clever marketing.
  • Thursday, November 20, 2025: What's for Dinner? 30-Minute Meals Made Easy (and Healthy!)
    • Presenter: Ashley Mayes MS, RDN, LDN, CDCES
    • Description: Discuss and demo building a balanced meal, with strategies for making healthy dinners feel do-able even on busy nights.
  • Friday, January 30, 2026: Strength & Stretch Exercise Class with Katie D'Orazio
    • Time: 11:30am - 12:15pm
    • Location: Canon Fitness Studios located in The Commons
    • Description: A 45-minute functional movement class utilizing body weight and optional added weights, focusing on breath to movement, low impact strength, balance, and flexibility exercises.
  • Friday, March 27, 2026: Strength & Stability Exercise Class with Katie D'Orazio
    • Time: 11:30am - 12:15pm
    • Location: Canon Fitness Studios located in The Commons
    • Description: A 45-minute total body functional movement class building strength and stability, incorporating breathwork for mindfulness and core engagement.
  • April 16, 2026: Virtual Lunchtime Program - Nutrition Myths Busted with Katie and Ashley
