Master's Programs in Russian/Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language

The educational program is focused on mastering the skills of teaching Russian as a foreign language, Russian literature, and regional studies of Russia. Foreign students master the Russian language in depth, study the theory of translation, and master the skills of everyday and scientific communication in Russian.

  • International students preferably have a level of Russian B2 (TRKI-TORFL-2)

Students study Russian philology in its various aspects, methodology, and practice of independent research activities in the field of linguistics and linguodidactics. They acquire linguodidactic knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary for teaching Russian to foreign students and students. Graduates of this program work both in Russia and abroad - in language centers, schools, and universities, travel companies, diplomatic and trade missions.

For students of higher levels, classes are also held, the purpose of which is to expand their understanding of Russian culture: linguoculturology and precedent texts of Russian culture.
