Program Overview

The Foundation Faculty (Medical-Biology Profile) is a one-year program designed for students planning to pursue higher education at Russian universities in medical and/or biological specialties taught in English.

Program Structure

Studies at the foundation department are structured to provide gradual adaptation to the academic process. Russian as a foreign language is taught in parallel with English up to level B1-B2, depending on the initial level. Students then begin attending specialized subjects, which are taught in English to prepare them for taking the entrance examinations for higher educational programs.

• Russian as a Foreign Language
• English as a Foreign Language
• Scientific Style of Speech and Language of Specialization mastering professional terminology, preparation for understanding lectures and working with scientific texts

Assessment and Certification

During the academic year, intermediate tests are conducted to assess the dynamics of mastering the material. Final certification is carried out in the form of a comprehensive exam.
