Program Overview

Introduction to the Program

The Northeast Normal University is a full-time ordinary higher education institution directly under the Ministry of Education, a key construction university of the "211 Project", a construction university of the "985 Project" for teacher education discipline innovation platform, and a "Double First-Class" construction university. In 2026, the university will continue to carry out the recruitment of students for the sports training and martial arts and national traditional sports majors.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the program, applicants must:

• Meet the eligibility criteria for the 2026 high school entrance examination and have participated in the ordinary high school entrance examination organized by the provincial-level admission examination institution.
• Possess a first-level (or above) athlete technical grade, with specific requirements for certain projects such as speed skating and single-board skiing.
• Not be in the period of doping violation ban, with the results of the check by the Sports Bureau's Anti-Doping Center being the standard.

Admission Plan and Province Range

• The admission plan includes various sports and majors, with specific requirements and quotas for each.
• The university offers a four-year program with an annual tuition fee of 9,000 yuan.
• The admission plan is as follows:
  • Sports training: speed skating, short-track speed skating, cross-country skiing, single-board skiing, track and field (field events), track and field (track events), basketball, football (non-goalkeeper), table tennis, badminton, tennis, martial arts and national traditional sports.
  • Each sport has specific requirements for athlete technical grades and quotas for male and female students.

Registration and Application

• Registration: Applicants must register through the "Chinese Sports Culture and Education Network" and the "Physical Education Alliance APP" within the specified time.
• Application: Applicants who have completed registration must fill out their application and pay the examination fee within the specified time.

Examination

• The examination includes a sports specialty examination and a cultural examination.
• Sports specialty examination: The examination is conducted uniformly across the country, with a full score of 100 points.
• Cultural examination: The examination is organized by the Education Examination Institute of the Ministry of Education, with four subjects (Chinese, mathematics, politics, and English) and a total score of 600 points.

Admission Principles

• The university sets a minimum admission score for cultural and sports specialty examinations.
• The admission principles are based on a comprehensive evaluation of the applicant's cultural and sports specialty scores, with a ratio of 3:7.
• The university prioritizes applicants with higher sports specialty scores when the comprehensive scores are the same.

Other Matters

• Applicants who have been admitted to the sports training and martial arts and national traditional sports majors will not be allowed to participate in the ordinary high school entrance examination and the recruitment of high-level sports teams by universities.
• The university will conduct a qualification review for new students and cancel their admission qualifications if they are found to be unqualified or have provided false information.
• Graduates who complete the undergraduate program and meet the requirements of the university's talent training program will be awarded a graduation certificate and a bachelor's degree in education.
