Introduction to the NENU Admission Guide for CSC Scholarship "High-level Graduates" Program (Type-B) 2024

The NENU Admission Guide for CSC Scholarship "High-level Graduates" Program (Type-B) 2024 is designed for international students who wish to pursue their higher education in China. This program is offered by Northeast Normal University (NENU) and is funded by the Chinese Government Scholarship.


Qualifications

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following qualifications:


  • Non-Chinese citizens.
  • Excellent in their studies, self-conduct, healthy mentally and physically, and obey Chinese laws and regulations.
  • Not be awarded other Chinese government scholarships at all levels at the same time.
  • Meet the requirements for the applicant's degree and age:
    • Be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for the Master's programs.
    • Be a master's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for the Doctoral programs.
  • Meet the language requirements:
    • Chinese-taught program: HSK Level 5 with scores above 180.
    • English-taught program: TOEFL IBT 80, IELTS 6.0 or English as a native/official language or having obtained a degree using English as the language of instruction.

Scholarship Coverage

The scholarship coverage includes:


  • Exemption from paying tuition and campus accommodation fees.
  • A monthly living allowance (Ph.D. 3,500 RMB/month, Master 3,000 RMB/month) while in China.
  • Comprehensive Medical Insurance Care.

Application Documents

Applicants must submit the following documents:


  • Copy of passport home page and Chinese visa pages (if any).
  • Notarized highest diploma.
  • Academic transcripts (from the undergraduate program onwards).
  • Language proficiency certificates.
  • A study plan proposal.
  • Recommendation letters.
  • Example of art (for those who apply to study art, design, etc.).
  • A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
  • Non-criminal record report.
  • Academic achievement materials.
  • Conditional Acceptance Letter from a professor (if any).
  • Other supporting documents required by the International Students Office.

Application Procedure

The application procedure involves the following steps:


  • Apply at the NENU International Student Service System.
  • Review and online interview.
  • Preliminary review and issuance of the Pre-admission Notice.
  • Submission of application to the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System.
  • Comprehensive evaluation and selection of candidates.

Note

Applicants should submit their applications directly to Northeast Normal University and should not submit their applications through any agency. The university will inform the applicants of the final result of the admission via email before the end of July. Scholarship recipients are required to submit all application documents at the beginning of the school year and must attend the annual review by the regulations. Failure to pass the evaluation will result in suspension or cancellation of the scholarship qualification.
