Program Overview


Introduction to the 2025 Autumn Semester Japanese Intensive Training Program

The Chinese Academy of Japan, a school affiliated with the Ministry of Education, was established in 1979 based on the educational exchange agreement between the Chinese and Japanese governments. The academy is dedicated to providing intensive Japanese language training to students preparing to study in Japan.


Program Overview

The 2025 autumn semester Japanese intensive training program is scheduled to start on September 8, 2025, and end on January 16, 2026, for the beginner and intermediate classes, and on January 9, 2026, for the advanced class. The program is designed for students with or without prior knowledge of Japanese.


Program Structure

The program consists of three classes:


  • Beginner class (N5-N4): 400 hours, using textbooks "Japanese Hiragana Introduction" and "Everyone's Japanese" (second edition, volumes 1 and 2), and listening materials "Everyone's Japanese" (second edition, volumes 1 and 2).
  • Intermediate class (N3-N2): 400 hours, using textbook "New Concept Japanese Tutorial" (volumes 3 and 4).
  • Advanced class (N1): 380 hours, using textbook "New Concept Japanese Tutorial" (volumes 5 and 6).

Class Schedule

Classes will be held from Monday to Friday, 17:20-20:30.


Tuition Fees

  • Beginner and intermediate classes: 5,500 yuan each
  • Advanced class: 6,000 yuan
  • Discounts: 1,000 yuan off for Northeast Normal University students and faculty

Admission Criteria

The program is open to Northeast Normal University students and faculty, as well as individuals with a need to learn Japanese, regardless of prior knowledge.


Program Details

The program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Japanese language, enabling them to apply for national scholarships to study in Japan upon completion of the program.
