Introduction to the 2026 Spring Semester Japanese Intensive Training Program

The 2026 spring semester Japanese intensive training program is scheduled to commence on March 9, 2026, and conclude on July 17, 2026, for the beginner and intermediate classes, and on July 10, 2026, for the advanced class.


Program Details

  • Target Audience: The program is open to individuals with or without prior knowledge of Japanese, both within and outside the university.
  • Class Types: The program offers three classes:
    • Beginner class (N5·N4)
    • Intermediate class (N3·N2)
    • Advanced class (N1)
  • Teaching Materials:
    • Beginner class:
      • "Japanese Hiragana and Katakana Introduction" (university-published materials)
      • "Everyone's Japanese" (Second Edition, Volumes 1 and 2, including study guides)
      • "Everyone's Japanese" listening materials (Second Edition, Volumes 1 and 2)
    • Intermediate class: "New Concept Japanese Textbook" (Volumes 3 and 4)
    • Advanced class: "New Concept Japanese Textbook" (Volumes 5 and 6)
  • Course Duration and Schedule:
    • Beginner and intermediate classes: 400 hours, from March 9, 2026, to July 17, 2026, every Monday to Friday, 17:20-20:30
    • Advanced class: 380 hours, from March 9, 2026, to July 10, 2026, every Monday to Friday, 17:20-20:30

Tuition Fees

  • Beginner and Intermediate Classes: 5,500 yuan each
  • Advanced Class: 6,000 yuan
  • Discount for Northeast Normal University Students and Faculty: A discount of 1,000 yuan is available for students and faculty members of Northeast Normal University for all classes.

Admission and Enrollment
