Introduction to the Bachelor of Applied Science
The Bachelor of Applied Science is a flexible, high-quality program that leverages the credits you've already earned from your technical associate degree, Intermediate Technical Certificate, Advanced Technical Certificate, or other college credits and applies them to fast-track your bachelor's degree. This program allows you to create a meaningful, individualized degree plan that advances your career goals.
Program Details
- The Bachelor of Applied Science features seven-week courses and six start dates a year.
- All application materials must be received by the deadline to be considered for the program.
- You must apply separately for admission to Boise State University.
- The program is designed for students who bring experience from prior education and work, building on what you already know so you don't start from scratch.
Admission Criteria
To qualify for the Bachelor of Applied Science, you must have:
- A completed Intermediate Technical Certificate, Advanced Technical Certificate, or technical associate degree (AAS or equivalent) from an accredited college or university.
- Not already earned a bachelor's degree.
