Online Certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging

The online Certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging is designed for students who already hold an imaging credential and want to gain an additional discipline in magnetic resonance imaging. To apply for this certificate, students must already hold an imaging credential.

Designed for Credentialed Professionals

This certificate is designed for credentialed professionals who want to gain complex problem-solving skills and prepare to sit for the ARRT (MR) exam. Students who do not meet this requirement are not eligible to apply for this certificate.

Discipline Considerations by Location

The Treasure Valley covers a section of Idaho and Oregon, including cities such as Boise, Cascade, Caldwell, Idaho City, McCall, Meridian, Mountain Home, Nampa, Ontario, Payette, and Weiser. Discipline program directors will only accept the number of students for which clinical placement is available in the Treasure Valley.

Courses

The online Certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a 31-credit program that can be completed in as little as two semesters when attending full-time. The required courses are:

To apply for the certificate program, students must apply to Boise State University by the application deadline. The application deadlines are:

• Summer: April 15
• Fall: July 15 Students must also secure a clinical site by March 1 to be eligible for the discipline year and clinical experiences.
