Master of Social Work (MSW) Program

The Master of Social Work (MSW) program at Boise State University, established in 1991, is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The program offers in-person Regular-Program and Advanced Standing MSW tracks, as well as an Online MSW program.

Program Tracks

• Regular-Program MSW: Designed for students with baccalaureate degrees in other disciplines, requiring two years of full-time study.
• Advanced Standing MSW: Designed for students with a CSWE-accredited undergraduate social work degree, can be completed in one year full-time or through a half-time enrollment option.
