The Department of Finance, Financial Planning, and Insurance offers a BSBA Option in Risk Management and Insurance to prepare students for careers in insurance or risk management.
Option in Risk Management and Insurance
The Option in Risk Management and Insurance is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in risk management and insurance. The program includes a range of courses that cover topics such as principles of insurance, risk management, life and health insurance, and seminars in insurance.

Prerequisites: FIN 303, FIN 336, BUS 302 and 302L for Business Majors. - FIN 434 Life and Health Insurance
Prerequisites: FIN 303, FIN 336, BUS 302 and 302L for Business Majors. - FIN 495A Seminar in Insurance
Prerequisites: FIN 303, FIN 352, BUS 302 and 302L for Business Majors. Courses may not be offered every semester.
