The Family and Consumer Sciences/Family Studies Option Pattern B: Family Services AA-T in Child and Adolescent Development is a degree program designed for students who have completed the AA-T in Child and Adolescent Development.

- 2023 Family and Consumer Sciences, B.S./Family Studies Option
- 2024 Family and Consumer Sciences, B.S./Family Studies Option
- 2025 Family and Consumer Sciences, B.S./Family Studies Option
Pattern B: Family Services
All lower division General Education (GE) requirements must be completed, and the lower-division course PSY 150 must be completed as part of the AA-T in Child and Adolescent Development.

Transfer Year 1: First Semester
The following courses are required for the first semester of the first transfer year:
- FCS 170 (if not taken prior to transfer) | 2 units
- FCS 232 (if not taken prior to transfer) | 3 units
- FCS 300 | 3 units
- FCS 320 | 3 units
- FCS 340 (meets Upper Division GE Section D Social Sciences) | 3 units Total units for the first semester: 14
Transfer Year 1: Second Semester
The following courses are required for the second semester of the first transfer year:
- FCS 330 | 3 units
- FCS 380 | 3 units
- FCS 426 | 3 units
- FCS 441 | 3 units
- GE B5 Scientific Inquiry and Quantitative Reasoning | 3 units Total units for the second semester: 15
Transfer Year 2: First Semester
The following courses are required for the first semester of the second transfer year:
- FCS 431/L | 3/1 units
- FCS 432 | 3 units
- FCS 436 or CADV 451 | 3 units
- FCS 438 | 3 units
- Upper Division FCS advisor approved elective (suggested options include FCS 309, FCS 323, FCS 420, FCS 424, FCS 427 or CADV 452, FCS 495A-C, FCS 543) | 3 units Total units for the first semester: 16
Transfer Year 2: Second Semester
The following courses are required for the second semester of the second transfer year:
- FCS 480 | 3 units
- FCS 485 | 3 units
- FCS 491A/B or C or FCS 494/I | 3 units
- Upper Division FCS advisor approved elective (suggested options include FCS 309, FCS 323, FCS 420, FCS 424, FCS 427 or CADV 452, FCS 495A-C, FCS 543) | 3 units
- Upper Division GE from Section C or Section F | 3 units Total units for the second semester: 15
