Fashion Design and Merchandising/Textiles Option (2023-Present)

The Fashion Design and Merchandising/Textiles Option is a program offered by the College of Health and Human Development, Family and Consumer Sciences. This program applies to the following catalog years: 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Program Overview

The Transfer Degree Road Map for this program presumes the completion of lower division General Education, Title 5 (United States History and Government), and lower division core requirements for this major. Residency Requirements

To meet residency requirements, students must complete a minimum of 30 units at CSUN: 24 units must be upper division, 12 units in the major, and 9 units in General Education.

Additional Requirements

One course for the degree must have an Ethnic Studies/ES designation. If not taken previously, electives will need to be comprised of lower-division FCS core and Textile requirements.
