Jewish Studies Program

The Jewish Studies program offers a comprehensive introduction to the genres of imaginative literature, including prose fiction, poetry, and drama, with a special emphasis on the interrelationships between form and theme.

Course Description

This course provides an introductory study of the genres of imaginative literature, with a focus on Jewish literature from the biblical period to the present. All readings are in English, and critical writing is an integral part of the course.
