Grado en Diseńo Arquitectónico de Interiores

The Grado en Diseńo Arquitectónico de Interiores is a university program that focuses on the interdisciplinary field of interior architectural design. This field utilizes creativity, communication, representation, and technology from an artistic and disciplinary orientation for professional application in companies and industries related to building, culture, and leisure.

Program Overview

The program aims to provide multidisciplinary training for professionals with knowledge, capabilities, and creative and technological skills to design, manage, mediate, and develop professional interior design projects related to professional commissions.

Professional Outcomes

The interior designer is a professional capable of analyzing, investigating, and projecting, directing teams, and executing interior design works, as well as acting as a direct interlocutor with public administrations in the field of their profession. This professional mediates between technology and art, culture, production, and consumption, which is essential in today's society. Innovation, driven by design, design for sustainability, and design for all, contributes to developing aesthetically, socially, and environmentally correct solutions and promoting more responsible consumption and a new idea of well-being.

International Mobility and Practices

Students will have the opportunity to undertake professional practices in companies, professional studios, technological institutes, organizations, and public and private institutions with which the ETS de Arquitectura and the UPV have signed collaboration agreements. These practices are managed through the Unidad de Prácticas en Empresa de la Escuela and are always carried out under the supervision of an academic tutor to ensure the best possible working conditions and maximum formative utility.

Continuation of Studies

The Grado en Diseńo Arquitectónico de Interiores allows access to the following university master's degrees taught by the UPV: Arquitectura Avanzada, Paisaje, Urbanismo y Diseńo (specialization in Diseńo de Interiores); Conservación del Patrimonio Arquitectónico; and Arquitectura del Paisaje. It is also possible to access any university master's degree at the UPV by taking the appropriate leveling courses.
