Introduction to the Degree in Digital Technology and Multimedia

The Degree in Digital Technology and Multimedia is a four-year program that consists of 240 credits. The tuition fee for the 2025/2026 academic year is 17.34 per credit. The Degree in Digital Technology and Multimedia aims to train professionals who can provide solutions to the current digital transformation of society, with an emphasis on multimedia systems. The program covers all stages of the life cycle of digital content, including creation, distribution, and exploitation. It also includes a block of adaptable content that responds to the evolution of emerging technologies and market demands.

There is a notable shortage of professionals in the field of information and communication technologies. This multidisciplinary degree combines technological training with the development of creative, narrative, and organizational skills, generating professional profiles with a high capacity for adaptation to change and high demand in sectors such as network planning, deployment, and management, audiovisual content creation, platform and content management, digital infrastructure administration, application development, user interface and usability, industry 4.0 and IoT, e-commerce, audiovisual production centers, entertainment, etc.


International Mobility and Internships

The degree shares all international relations and agreements with companies that the ETSE of Telecommunication has, many of which are related to digital technology and multimedia. It has a clear applied orientation, reflected in formative blocks of seminars and workshops, numerous classroom and laboratory practices, and a wide range of internships in companies, recognized with up to 18 ECTS.


Continuation of Studies

The degree allows access to various master's programs at the UPV, including Acoustic Engineering, Audiovisual Postproduction, Music, Technologies, Systems and Communication Networks, Electronic Systems Engineering, Cloud and High-Performance Computing, etc. It is also possible to access any university master's program at the UPV by taking the appropriate leveling courses.
