Program Overview

The Delimitation of Real Estate and Georeferencing Course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the relationship between property delimitation and its coordination with relevant organisms. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:


  • Understand the functions of organisms related to property delimitation, including the Cadastre, Property Registry, Notaries, and Courts.
  • Comprehend the reasons for discrepancies between the actual measured surface area, the Cadastre, and the Property Registry.
  • Learn procedures for resolving these discrepancies.
  • Perform georeferencing of a parcel or building.
  • Understand the ETRS89 geodetic reference system and the UTM coordinate system.
  • Select and utilize appropriate topographic instruments for each case.
  • Create an alternative georeferenced graphic representation and validate it on the Cadastre website.
  • Understand the implications of this validation.
  • Familiarize themselves with legislation related to real estate property delimitation and expert activity.
  • Prepare an expert report on real estate property delimitation and learn to defend it in court.
