Program Overview

Doble M·ster Universitario en IngenierÌa de Caminos, Canales y Puertos + PlanificaciÛn y GestiÛn en IngenierÌa Civil

The Double Master's Degree in Engineering of Roads, Canals, and Ports + Planning and Management in Civil Engineering is a program offered by the Universitat PolitËcnica de ValËncia, located on the Vera Campus in Valencia.

Program Description

The Master's Degree in Engineering of Roads, Canals, and Ports (MUICCP) enables students to practice as Engineers of Roads, Canals, and Ports, while the Master's Degree in Planning and Management in Civil Engineering (MUPGIC) is focused on the field of construction management, both from a professional and scientific perspective. Although both master's degrees have multiple coincidences, the double degree allows students to acquire the competencies of both master's degrees through an integrated academic trajectory.

Program Details

  • The double degree program requires a total of 174 ECTS credits, representing a savings of 36 ECTS credits compared to obtaining both master's degrees individually.
  • The program is designed to be completed in a shorter timeframe and at a lower economic cost than pursuing both master's degrees separately.
  • The approach of the program is based on the MUICCP > MUPGIC sequence, where the non-enabling master's degree (MUPGIC) provides students with an expansion of their specialization in construction management, building on the knowledge acquired in the enabling master's degree (MUICCP).

Program Structure

The program combines the coursework of both master's degrees, allowing students to gain a comprehensive understanding of engineering and management principles in the field of civil engineering. The integrated academic trajectory enables students to develop a broad range of skills and competencies, preparing them for careers in engineering, management, and related fields.
