Introduction to the Degree in Audiovisual Communication
The Degree in Audiovisual Communication is a 4-year program consisting of 240 credits. The tuition fee for the 2025/2026 academic year is 14.03 per credit. The program has a limited number of places, with 75 spots available for the 2025/2026 academic year. The cut-off mark for admission is 10.31.
Presentation of the Degree
This program trains students in the field of creation, production, and realization in various audiovisual media. It is an innovative program based on project-based learning, where students face the challenge of transversal semester projects and integrate the knowledge acquired in the subjects to develop a realistic and professional proposal. This experience enables students to analyze and criticize, master multimedia communication, and innovate in different audiovisual and digital supports and productions.
Professional Outcomes
Graduates of this program can work in companies related to the audiovisual and multimedia sector for television, radio, film, digital environments, and video games, in profiles such as direction, screenwriting, and audiovisual production; production and management of companies in the sector; specialist in visual and sound post-production, and as a professional expert in audiovisual communication.
International Mobility and Internships
The program has agreements with universities in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Turkey. Students can do internships in companies representing all fields and areas of interest of the degree. The school has agreements with 108 entities: radio stations, television channels, producers, audiovisual companies, town halls, associations, advertising agencies, newspapers, and magazines.
Continuation of Studies
The Degree in Audiovisual Communication allows access to the University Master's Degree in Digital Postproduction, which has two specialties: Video Postproduction and Audio Postproduction. It also allows access to the University Master's Degree in Transmedia Communication, which offers specialized training in social media and communication platforms. Additionally, students can access any University Master's Degree at the UPV by taking the appropriate leveling subjects.
