Accountancy MBA Program
The Accountancy MBA specialization is designed to provide students with critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as business acumen to understand complex financial transactions. This program prepares students to sit for the CPA exam and graduate with a set of varied competencies, including:

- Fraud and forensic accounting

Admission Requirements
To apply for the program, students must submit:
- An online application
- An essay explaining their interest in the program and professional goals
- A résumé
- Official transcripts from all degree-granting institutions
- Test scores (GMAT/GRE) are optional
- A letter of recommendation from a current or previous employer (required for Full-Time MBA applicants)
- An interview (required for Full-Time MBA applicants)
Program Structure
The program requires students to take 10 MBA core courses and three electives. For CPA eligibility, there are six required courses.

Program Formats
The program is offered in two formats:
- Full-Time MBA: designed for early-career professionals or career changers, with classes offered in person on DePaul's Loop campus
- Part-Time MBA: designed for established professionals with 3+ years of experience, with online-hybrid classes combining live learning with on-demand learning materials
Scholarships
The DePaul MBA program awarded more than $3 million to incoming students last year. Scholarships are available to help students invest in their future.
