Program Overview
Program Overview
The DePaul Undergraduate Degree + International Public Service (MS) program allows students to pursue a combined bachelor's and master's degree in International Public Service. This program is available to students completing any undergraduate degree at DePaul.
Eligibility and Admission Criteria
To be eligible for the program, students must have completed at least 88.0 credit hours of their undergraduate degree with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students must apply for the program no later than the end of the spring quarter of their junior year.
Program Structure
Students admitted to the program will take three courses in International Public Services in their senior year, in consultation with an Academic Advisor. These courses will serve as electives in the undergraduate program and double-count for the MS degree.
Academic Advising
Through the combined program, students are responsible for working with both their undergraduate advisor to manage their undergraduate degree progress and an academic advisor to plan a graduate program of study that includes the MS courses as open electives or major field electives. Undergraduates are advised to meet with a faculty member once per quarter during their senior year to ensure they are on track to graduate and transition into the master's program.
Academic Requirements
