Program Overview

The program aims to cultivate students' ability to design and implement user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) projects. Through a combination of theoretical and practical teaching, students will learn about the complete UX/UI design process, analyze user needs, and apply design thinking to solve real-world problems.

Program Objectives

The program objectives are to enable students to master Figma design tools, understand and analyze user needs, and develop the ability to plan information architecture and processes. Ultimately, students are expected to propose optimization design solutions that meet user needs from a user-centered perspective.

• Location: Online and on-campus (Comprehensive Building 301 and Guardian Building 101)

• Priority Enrollment: NYCU students > external students (Taiwan University System) > other external students (universities, high schools) > NYCU faculty and staff > social members

• How to enroll in the micro-credit course? Enroll through the ICT course selection system.
• Can external students enroll in the course? Yes, external students can enroll in the course.
• How to know if I have been enrolled in the course? Check the course selection system after the enrollment deadline.
• How to drop the course? Cancel enrollment through the ICT course selection system before the deadline or contact the assistant via email.
• What if I do not drop the course or absent without leave? The student will be banned from enrolling in ICT courses for two months.
• How to ask for leave? Write an email to the instructor with the reason for leave before the class.
• Can undergraduate/graduate students enroll in the micro-credit course? Yes, but please note that the credits may not be counted towards graduation.
• Do I need to pay tuition fees for the micro-credit course? No, there are no tuition fees for the micro-credit course.
• Will the course have grades? Yes, the course will have grades, and students must pass the course to receive credits.
• How to convert course hours to credits? Every 8 hours of course time can be converted to 0.5 credits.
