Program Overview
The Master program in Financial Management is based on three necessary preconditions:
- The program is oriented on international educational trends in the field of financial management, providing students with a wide range of competences in finance relevant to an international context.
- The program is developed together with leading professionals in finance, with an applied tendency supported by close cooperation with companies, institutions, and practitioners in teaching and research supervision.
- The Basic Program provides core competences for a Master's Degree in "Management," including strategic analysis, organizational design, finance, and research tools, while elective courses offer specific knowledge and skills in finance.
Program Goal
The goal of the program is to prepare high-level financial specialists capable of using advanced analytical tools to solve relevant research and applied problems.
Duration of Study
The duration of study is two academic years.
Language of Instruction
The language of instruction is English.
Benefits
The benefits of the program include:
- The opportunity to earn two diplomas: a Master's degree in Management from Novosibirsk State University and an M2 diploma in "Quantitative Finance" from EISTI (France)
- Scholarships available for the student exchange program with EISTI
- Teachers include high-level financial managers
- Students in the Program can take courses from any other department without additional payment, as long as the requirements for the "Financial Management" Program are met

Master Dissertation
To complete the program, a student undertakes a substantial project under the supervision of a faculty member and writes a Master dissertation reporting the results. Research can cover any area of finance and implies a managerial approach.

Training Base
The Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering (Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science) is considered the base for research activity at the faculty of Economics.
Fees and Financial Support
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are $5,200 per year.
Scholarships
Every year, foreign students have an opportunity to apply for the Russian Government Scholarship Program, which includes full tuition and a monthly stipend. Additionally, students can participate in the "Open Doors" Russian Scholarship Project to win a full scholarship to study the Master's program.
Career Opportunities
Many graduates of the department have become part of the Russian scientific elite, honorably representing national science abroad. Department graduates also succeed in the business and banking industry, often becoming managers or CEOs of large and medium-sized companies.

Application Deadlines
The application deadline is August 6, with the requirement to fill out the application form and provide a full set of scanned documents.
