The Summer University Program of the Central European University invites applications to summer courses in 2026.

Program Details

The program takes place fully in person, during June-July 2026, on CEU's Budapest site, and offers seven intensive interdisciplinary courses in:

• Social sciences
• Humanities
• Arts
• Legal studies
• Higher education quality and pedagogy
• Civic engagement

Eligibility

The courses are open to:

• Advanced undergraduate and graduate students
• Junior and mid-career researchers
• University faculty and administrators
• Independent scholars and professionals
• Civil society advocates

Application Deadlines

• Deadline to apply if you require visa support and/or financial aid is March 1
• For self-funded applications who do not need a visa, deadline is April 15
