Information Systems Program
Overview
The Information Systems specialization deals with the intelligent use of information technology in business organizations. The program provides in-depth study of business processes in companies, computers, programming, computer networks, Internet, electronic commerce, security in information systems, database management systems, information systems analysis, design, and development, and management of information system projects.
Program Emphasis
The program emphasizes the application of problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills combined with knowledge of business and computers to improve a business organization's productivity and profitability.

Degree Requirements
- Students completing the Information Systems specialization must complete University, general degree, admission core, and business core requirements for the BSBA degree, including admission to the BSBA program.
- The Information Systems specialization requires 24 hours of coursework.
- A grade of "C" or better must be earned in each course taken for the specialization.
