Credential Programs

• MULTIPLE SUBJECT: This program is designed for individuals who wish to teach multiple subjects in a self-contained classroom.

Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration

Preliminary Administrative Services Credential

The Preliminary Administrative Services Credential program is designed for individuals who wish to pursue a career in administrative services. The program includes:

• Overview: The program prepares candidates to assume positions of leadership in California's K-12 school system.
• Requirements: Candidates must hold a valid California teaching/service credential with five years of full-time teaching/service experience.

Administrative Services Internship Program

The Administrative Services Internship Program is designed for individuals who wish to pursue a career in administrative services. The program includes:

• Overview: The program supports districts that have an immediate need for an administrator and are without suitable candidates.
• Requirements: Applicants must verify proof of a valid basic teaching or appropriate service credential and five years of teaching and/or related service.

Program Format

The Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration program is offered in a:

• Fast-Track Schedule: The program will be completed in two semesters and one short summer session.
• Cohort Model: Small class sizes where candidates will move through the program together, fostering collaboration and connection.
• Fully Online: Courses offered Friday evenings and Saturdays, designed for working professionals.

Mission

The Educational Leadership and Administration Program prepares educational leaders who foster a norm of ethical behavior, moral integrity, and social responsibility in an interdependent and rapidly changing world.

Educational Leadership & Admin (ELAP) Info Sessions

The School of Education offers information sessions for the Educational Leadership and Administration program, including:
