School of Education

The School of Education offers various programs for students pursuing a career in education. These programs are designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become effective educators.

Credential Programs

The School of Education offers several credential programs, including:

• MULTIPLE SUBJECT: This program is designed for students who want to teach multiple subjects in a self-contained classroom.
• SINGLE SUBJECT: This program is designed for students who want to teach a specific subject, such as mathematics or science.
• SPECIAL EDUCATION: This program is designed for students who want to teach students with special needs.
• EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP & ADMINISTRATION (ELAP): This program is designed for students who want to become educational leaders or administrators.
• BILINGUAL AUTHORIZATION: This program is designed for students who want to teach bilingual students.

Master's Programs

The School of Education also offers several master's programs, including:

• CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION: This program is designed for students who want to become curriculum specialists or instructional coaches.
• EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP & ADMINISTRATION (ELAP): This program is designed for students who want to become educational leaders or administrators.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the School of Education's programs, students must meet certain requirements, including:

• Bachelor's Degree: Students must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• GPA: Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher.
• Letters of Recommendation: Students must provide two letters of recommendation from individuals who can speak to their academic or professional abilities.
• Resume or Curriculum Vitae: Students must provide an updated resume or curriculum vitae.
• Cover Letter: Students must provide a cover letter explaining their interest in pursuing a degree in education.
• Application Essay: Students must provide an application essay outlining their philosophy of teaching.

How to Apply
