The Civil and Environmental Engineering program at Cal Poly is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the principles of civil and environmental engineering, including structural analysis, transportation engineering, and water resources engineering.
Program Details
The program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET and is designed to prepare students for careers in the civil and environmental industry or for graduate study. The program requires 30 units of coursework, including:
- 18 units of core coursework
- Core coursework covers fundamental principles of civil and environmental engineering
- 12 units of elective coursework
- Elective coursework allows students to specialize in areas of interest
Thesis or Project Requirement
