Program Overview

The Construction Management program at Cal Poly offers a unique study abroad experience in Prague. This 8-week, 9-unit hybrid program combines 4 weeks of on-site learning in Prague with 4 weeks of virtual asynchronous learning.

Program Structure

The program is co-led by Professor Lonny Simonian and Professor Scott Kelting. The 9-unit course load is distributed across three courses:

• CM-426 International Construction Studies: 1 unit, taught by Lonny Simonian
• CM-450 Integrated Project, Design and Program Management: 5 units, co-taught by Lonny Simonian and Scott Kelting
• CM-463 Senior Project: Professional Practice for Constructors: 3 units, taught by Lonny Simonian

Program Details

The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of construction management principles and practices in an international context. The combination of on-site and virtual learning allows students to engage with the material in a flexible and immersive environment.
