Engineering Possibilities in College (EPIC) Program

Middle school students participating in the first week of Cal Poly's Engineering Possibilities in College (EPIC) program work together to disassemble and reassemble a four-stroke gasoline engine in the lab of mechanical engineering Professor Eltahry Elghandour. The hands-on session introduces students to key engine components and highlights how mechanical systems function as an integrated whole.
