Program Details
One of the programs offered is the 10.024 Spatial Design World, which integrates 3D scanning, parametric modelling, AI-driven design exploration, and digital fabrication in a hands-on curriculum. The program strengthens students' abilities in both 2D and 3D representation, with an emphasis on developing high-quality drawing skills and workflows that leverage advanced software tools.
Program Description
The program weaves together orthographic drawings, axonometric illustrations, and emerging AI solutions, allowing students to document, analyse, and transform physical spaces with precision and creativity. Participants tackle progressively complex tasks, from conceptual planning to prototyping, while refining presentations through data-driven simulations and digital fabrication techniques such as 3D printing.
Program Outcomes
The program encourages holistic problem-solving, helping students confidently integrate state-of-the-art technologies into their spatial design processes. Students gain technical fluency and a deep understanding of foundational design principles like scale, proportion, and spatial hierarchy.
