Introduction to the Freshmore English Programme (FEP)

The Freshmore English Programme (FEP) is a 4-week English module offered in term 1, specifically designed for selected freshmore students. This module consists of 4 hours of instruction per week, conducted twice a week in 2-hour sessions.

Programme Details

• The FEP is a Pass/Fail module, and the grades will appear on the student's transcript upon graduation from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
• Students are required to pass the FEP in order to graduate.
• The programme focuses on teaching essay writing skills and techniques, close reading, critical reading, textual analysis, and writing critical responses to academic-based articles.
