Program Overview
Introduction to The 2nd Be Young! Beyond! Startup Bootcamp
The 2nd Be Young! Beyond! Startup Bootcamp is a program hosted by National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). The bootcamp aims to promote talent and exchanges between Taiwan and New Southbound Policy (NSP) target countries.
Program Details
- The program was held from July 21-28 and included workshops, seminars, and mentoring sessions.

- A total of 59 students from 10 countries participated in the program, with one from the U.S., one from Honduras, four from India, 11 from Indonesia, two from Malaysia, one from Paraguay, five from Philippines, 25 from Taiwan, eight from Thailand, and one from Vietnam.
Competition and Awards
- The program featured a student entrepreneurial pitch competition, where teams made an eight-minute pitch followed by an 11-minute Q&A session.
- The competition involved 15 teams, and the winning team, Team 8, received the Distinguished Honor Award for their pitch titled "LOFI Language Learning."
- The three groups that won the excellence awards were Team 4 for their pitch "Bravo," Team 3 for their pitch "Fungus Fighter," and Team 6 for their pitch "Foodie."
Program Objectives
- The program aims to deepen the ties and exchanges between young Taiwanese and youth in NSP target countries.
- It hopes to use these programs to promote talent and exchanges between Taiwan and NSP target countries, and to develop resources that can complement business opportunities.
