Course Description

The course provides basic knowledge of relational databases and the SQL language, as well as an introduction to Ms Sql Server. The course aims to give students the ability to describe and explain basic concepts in database theory, particularly relational database theory. Students will be able to construct databases (data modeling) based on a described reality, master the basics of the SQL query language, and construct simple applications that handle databases. Additionally, students will learn to use a map tool with an associated database and describe how a geographic component is used to manage data in applications. Students will also develop skills in documenting their own work according to established methodology.
